✨ NEW — MAGIC GIFT LINK (full online delivery, no setup)

After buying, your customer pastes their download link into the widget and gets a personal gift URL. Their friend opens it, unwraps the animated card — with the personal message — and claims the gift in one tap. End-to-end gifting that works on any Payhip store.

MORE WAYS TO GIFT (new)

• 11 occasion themes — Birthday, Love, Holiday, Wedding, Baby, Thank you, Congrats, Spooky, Nature & more — one click sets colors, icon AND matching wording

• Live countdown — show "5 days to go" to a real date; optionally lock the gift until the big day for a true surprise

• Friend-view preview — see exactly what the recipient sees before you publish

• Magic gift link, now with a custom claim-button and message control

HONEST NOTE: Payhip's own "gift by email" (Auto mode) uses Payhip's checkout fields — the widget guides your customer step by step and copies their message so they just paste it there. The widget cannot write inside Payhip's email itself; the Magic gift link and Shareable card modes are fully self-contained instead.

Payhip only has a plain "send as a gift" checkbox and an automatic email. This is the real thing.

 BUILT FOR CREATORS

You sell digital products, courses, presets, templates, memberships — Gift System lets your audience buy them FOR someone else, the easy way:

• Your customer writes a message, picks who it's for, and pays. Done.

• Or they save/print the gift card and send the surprise to their friend themselves.

• Every gift is a new sale for you — and word-of-mouth to a brand-new customer.

FOUR DELIVERY METHODS (you choose)

Every store sells differently, so pick how the gift reaches the friend — all built on real Payhip features:

• Auto by email — Payhip emails the gift to the friend automatically after checkout.

• Shareable card — the customer gets a card + link to send their friend themselves.

• Gift code — hand your customer a redeemable code (Payhip coupon) to pass on.

• Direct checkout — straight to Payhip checkout, the simple way.

WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS GET

• Surprise reveal — the gift arrives "wrapped." One tap unwraps it with a confetti burst. Four animations: Unwrap, Envelope, Fade, Flip.

• A personalized gift card — their own message, plus "To" and "From." A keepsake, not a receipt.

• One-click themes — 🎂 Birthday · 💝 Love · 🎄 Holiday · 🥂 Elegant · ⚡ Neon. Instant matching look.

• Save / print the card — so they can hand the surprise to their friend.

• Two modes:

  - Gift a product: your customer gifts one specific item from your store.

  - Gift card: they choose an amount to gift (each amount is its own Payhip link) — perfect when they're not sure what their friend wants.

• Real Payhip checkout — the "Claim" button charges the right product or amount automatically.
